Weicon again receives award as Top Employer
First place among industrial companies
For the seventh consecutive time, the manufacturer of adhesives and sealants, Weicon, has been ranked among the top employers in the German mid-sized business sector. This award is presented annually by the business magazine Focus Business. What’s special about 2025: the family-owned company takes first place in the industrial sector.

A total of more than 4,000 companies was assessed: Weicon came 343rd in this year’s ranking. Among the industrial companies, the adhesive manufacturer even takes the top spot, surpassing 129 other industry players.
“We’re always delighted to receive the Top Employer award. That we now also hold the first place among industrial companies is an additional sign of appreciation for us,” says Ann-Katrin Weidling, co-partner of the Weicon Group, following the announcement of the ranking.
Criteria, data collection and evaluation
The top employer ranking is based on a comprehensive analysis. Initially, companies with 11 to 500 employees are identified and then evaluated in a detailed online survey. Both the opinions of employees and external evaluations, such as the analysis of social media profiles, are included in the assessment. The key evaluation criteria include the work environment, career opportunities, salary and the company’s image. Focus Business publishes the results of the Top Employer ranking on its website.
